I think it's great they do something for the kids. In that small town that seems to be growing with teen parents and crime. If they wouldn't have shut down the bowling alley(the normal weekend hangout). The count of teen pregnancy most likely wouldn't have gone up. Theres nothing there for teens or the young adults that alredy have kids. I'm 21 and had a beautiful baby girl at 18 I honestly think thats because there was nothing to do but have sex.

first of all i'd like to say that we were tour guided around to all the sick spots by senta, and we couldn't be any more grateful that she went around with us and showed us EVERYTHING. plus she's kinda cool too, so it was fun hanging out with her.

anyway, that being said, some of the funnest shit we did had nothing to do with skating. peep the pics:

we went out to the zoo one day which was awesome, there were so many different types of animals. here's me scratching the head of a jaguar with a stick. some lady yelled at me and told me i didn't know what i was doing to them but as you can see, he really enjoyed it. note: just before this it walked up to the edge of the cage and started pooping and i snuck up and scared it. it was too funny.

the day we skated forum we also found this playground with little holes in the ground with trampolines in them. lurk the height.

and heres the homies chillin in the plaza halfway up through parc guel. peep barcelona chillin in the back. you could see all the way through the city and down to the beach. amazing.

drinking champagne and eating cake to celebrate sant joan. later that night we all went out to the beach and drank more.

and this is the beachhouse we went and stayed at in seiges for pere's birthday.

so pretty much i want to move to barcelona. good skate spots. chill atmosphere. metro to take you anywhere. beer sold in the streets for cheap. petra. fresh bread. fresh coffee. beautiful beaches. beautiful women. beautiful women topless on the beautiful beaches. pretty much anything you could ever want.

paris, france

fuckin a, we're stuck in paris. we couldn't get a train to germany to see timo :( lame. then, they sent us to paris instead, we got a ticket for the afternoon to leave and go to see erik but we missed the train, so, we're crashin on the couch of a friend we made on the train, rory. anyway, we hit a few spots in the time between ariving and missing our train so here's the pics:

it´s ridiculous. we went for like an hour and a half today. well, first we went and skated this area with perfect flatground and two four stairs in a row, so you could do as many flatground tricks as you wanted and then hit the stairs, it was a blast. so, skated there for about an hour, soaked in sweat, hopped on the metro and went to macba for another hour or so, not to mention we skated all over the place at random spots. i got this front smith through two big chunks.



but it´s so hard to skate because there are 800 people in your way sitting on the ledges, drinking beers and smoking hash spliffs, or just skating flat ground. gay.

so since the 19th we´ve been in spain: two days and nights in madrid, which were a blast thanks to our new irish friends, and since the 21st we´ve been crashing on a couch in the apartment of our new friend pere. we´ve gotten to go to all the tight spots and it´s been so damn fun.

front disaster - forum is defintely the funnest place to skate in barcelona, there´s so much fun shit right here plus after we finished skating, completely soaked through in sweat i striped down to my boxers, set my clothes out to dry in the sun and went swimming in the mediterranean sea and after that we found a park with a bunch of fun trampolines and spinning tables and played like kids for an hour.

new york, new york

before we left for spain we had a 10 hour layover in newark, nj. now, most people would look at this as something shitty, but me and scott took full advantage, we hoped on our boards and skated through the airport to the bustop and took a bus into new york city. we got to skate the brooklyn banks (with tim oconnor) and all the other really famous new york spots. also there´s a pic i got of a 5050 on a ledge on wall street. it´s seriously like 15 seconds away from the trump building and there were tons of people hurrying around like bees. it was a little intimidating cause there were so many people, AND there was an armed guard standing outside the building across from us. we met some nice kids who took us around to all those spots and then to a little skatepark before we had to catch the bus back to jersey and hop on the plane. here´s the pics:
